Our mom was brought into the emergency room. My sisters and I have not seen nursing like the way Jennifer provided it for many years. She was so thoughtful. Throughout the entire time in the emergency room, she demonstrated a true sense of really caring about not only my mother but also my sisters and me. She had such an upbeat demeanor in everything she did that I had an inner peace that Mom was in excellent hands. When Jennifer said she would do something, she followed through with her word. Going to the emergency room is very frightening, and my mother was especially scared. Jennifer took the time to make sure Mom was comfortable, check on us without having to press the nurses' button, and explained things to us in a way that we actually understood. Probably, the thing that impressed me the most was when we were told that they were going to admit Mom to the hospital. Jennifer saw that my mom was very worried, and she took my mother's hand and looked her in the eye and said, "We are going to take very good care of you." Instantly, you could see the concern disappear from Mom's face. After Jennifer left the room, Mom looked at us and said, "Girls, you don't need to worry, I know that they are going to take care of me." Mom is home now and doing much better. Everyone was a blessing. We still get a smile cause mom likes to recall the day and refers to Jennifer as the "sweet curly hair nurse."
