Jenn exemplifies so many values of a DAISY nurse. She was the nurse the day my son was born and took care of him directly after birth. She listened to all of my wants as a first-time mother. She extended her care to my whole family, treating all of us with the same attention and compassion she gave to me. Even a few days later, when my son had to be transferred to Arkansas Children's Hospital, she was there.

Jenn even advocated for me to do skin-to-skin to help improve my son’s breathing while waiting for the ACH transport team to arrive. I will never forget that moment because it was the only constant and secure peace I felt when I felt my world was falling apart everywhere else. She was constantly checking on me and my family, even when she wasn’t our nurse. She made some scary moments that much easier for a first-time mother, and I’m so thankful for her!
