I have observed many nurse techs come visit us at the behavioral health unit of the Children's Hospital, and all have been pleasant, but none have immediately stood out as much as Mrs. Wehner. During my entire shift with her, she spent her time outside of the nursing station spending all of her time speaking with patients. I saw her in the dayroom, correcting patient language and behavior, and doing so with warmth and kindness. I noticed immediately that staff did not need to ask her for assistance; she was able to notice when assistance was needed and provide it without prompting.

It is obvious she has a genuine connection with our child and adolescent population because every time I see Jenna, she is in the dayroom talking to patients. Several members of the ancillary staff here also made comments to me about Jenna and how they have been very impressed when she is here. I can honestly say she surpasses expectations.
