Mia is always willing to step up and help other teammates when needed. She’s positive, compassionate, fun, intelligent, and supportive. There have been many instances where she has asked what she can do to help other nurses who are overwhelmed to help lighten their loads, which in turn helps to keep morale high and reinforce the team's bonds. She has been instrumental in helping to reinforce a positive team culture and in ensuring that everyone on the team feels supported and heard.

She’s also compassionate and knowledgeable when interacting with patients, helping to make them feel at ease when facing unknown circumstances. Many patients have commented on how easy it is to connect with Mia, and that her communication style and approach are welcoming and relieving while they are going through a difficult situation.

She makes every effort to consistently provide all patients with the information they need to understand the next steps in their care, and she pulls in resources like pastoral care, charge nurses, and bedside teammates to help provide comfort in times of need.
