It wasn’t just about the physical care; it was the way she made my mom feel like a person again, not just a patient.
I know it’s been almost a year, but recently my mom was scrolling through her phone and came across a picture she had taken with her nurse. Seeing that photo brought back a flood of memories. My mom immediately remembered how deeply she had wanted to thank this wonderful nurse, but never had the chance, and over time, she had forgotten her name. While
searching through her wallet, she found a piece of paper where she had written the nurse’s name, and it brought back all the gratitude she felt. Jeanica was truly a bright light during a difficult time. She showed such genuine kindness, compassion, and patience. She was the first nurse who took the time to clip my mom’s nails, something that seems small but meant so much to her, and even asked if she wanted her hair brushed.
It wasn’t just about the physical care; it was the way she made my mom feel like a person again, not just a patient. She spoke words of encouragement, comfort, and hope, always with a gentle smile and a warm heart. Her thoughtful actions brought so much dignity and peace to my mom’s experience. She made a lasting impact on our family, and we are forever grateful.
I truly hope this message reaches her and that she is still working, continuing to bring her beautiful spirit to others who need it. She deserves to be recognized for the incredible difference she makes with every patient she touches.
