Jayme didn’t just provide excellent clinical care—she cared about me.
As a first-time mom, I was filled with a mix of excitement, fear, and uncertainty as I prepared for my C-section. I didn’t know what to expect, and everything felt scary. From the moment she introduced herself, Jayme brought an immediate sense of calm. She had this gentle, confident presence that made me feel like I was in the best possible hands. She took the time to explain everything that was going to happen, step-by-step, never rushing, never brushing off my questions. She didn’t just talk at me—she spoke to me, as a person, as a scared new mom who just needed a little reassurance. But what really made a difference was that Jayme continued to care for me the next day as well. Post-op recovery was tough. I was in pain, emotional, and trying to figure out how to take care of a newborn while healing from major surgery. Jayme anticipated what I needed before I even realized it. Whether it was helping me with pain control, assisting me with breastfeeding for the first time, or just sitting with me for a few minutes when I felt overwhelmed—she made me feel like I wasn’t alone. Jayme didn’t just provide excellent clinical care—she cared about me. She never made me feel like a burden or just another patient on her list. Her kindness, patience, and compassion turned what could have been a scary and isolating experience into one of strength and empowerment. I’ll never forget her. She was the first person to care for me as a mother, and I will always be grateful for the difference she made in one of the most important moments of my life.
