Jayelyn was a true angel to me during my stay. My diagnosis of GBS was mentally devastating to me. My ability to walk was taken from me within days. Jayelyn was always there to give me the best care by encouraging me to be positive when I would cry and get down in the dumps; she would be right there to lift me up like the angel she is. One time I tried to walk with my walker alone when I wasn’t supposed to and Jayelyn came right in. No clue how she knew, but she did. She was encouraging, energetic, and kind. What every patient deserves and needs. She will be the future of nursing leadership because she is the standard of care.
