Jasmine has touched my life in a way that I will never forget.
When I was first diagnosed with IBD, it felt like my world collapsed beneath me. I was consumed by fear, confusion, and a deep sense of isolation. It was as if I had fallen into a pit of darkness with no way out. But in that darkness, there was a light. That light was Jasmine.

Jasmine wasn't just a nurse assigned to my care. She became my comfort, and, more than anything, my hope. From the very beginning, she saw me not just as a patient, but as a person who was scared, hurting, and struggling to find solid ground. She didn't have to go the extra mile, but she did, time and time again. She made me feel seen. She made me feel heard. And most importantly, she made me feel safe. Though I was only one of the many patients under her care, Jasmine treated me as if I were the only one. She listened with her heart, not just her ears. She advocated for me when I couldn't find the words or the strength to speak up for myself. She shared her own experiences with such sincerity and kindness, not to overshadow my journey, but to reassure me that I wasn't walking through it alone. Through every conversation, every small gesture, and every word of encouragement, Jasmine reminded me that healing wasn't just physical. It was emotional, mental, and deeply personal.

Jasmine helped me believe in a future again. In the midst of my most difficult day, she made me feel like there would be a rainbow after the storm. And she didn't just offer support, she was the support. She provided everything she could to help me improve, not only as a patient but as a human being trying to hold on to hope. She brought light where there was none. What strikes me the most is that I know I am not the first person she has treated this way, yet she never shows signs of hesitation in her kindness. I don't think she would ever boast about it, but Jasmine deserves to be recognized for the extraordinary person she is. She embodies the very essence of what it means to be a nurse and so much more.

When you look up the word "nurse," the definition reads: a person trained to care for the sick. Jasmine redefines that word entirely. She is not only incredibly skilled and knowledgeable, but she is compassionate, gentle, resilient, and full of grace. She is beautiful both inside and out, and her unwavering spirit shines through every interaction she has. Despite any hardships she may face, she continues to radiate dignity, strength, love, and care. Jasmine has touched my life in a way that I will never forget. She is the kind of nurse who changes lives, who brings healing not just through medicine, but through presence, empathy, and love. She was a blessing at a time when I needed one the most, and I feel incredibly fortunate to have crossed paths with her. She is the definition of excellence in nursing, and she has forever left an imprint on my heart.
