She makes you feel that you are the most important human being on earth when you are in her care.
I would like to thank my nurse Jasmine from the ED Unit.

I came into the ER in November. I had ventured down to the Newberry women's soccer match on the pitch at Newberry College, the final home match versus the Anderson Trojans. Score after 1 period 0 to 0 or Nil to Nil.

I have congestive heart failure and am in the process of trying to get on the heart transplant list at USMC in Charleston, SC. 4 years ago, I was told by a Prisma cardiologist that if I did not get a heart transplant within a year, I would die. Yes, that was his bedside manner – cold-hearted and ruthless with no compassion.

I have had three heart attacks, four strokes, a triple bypass, and open-heart surgery. My 2nd birthday, my first in Newton, NC – Catawba County, NC.

The bedside manner of Jasmine is incredible. She is so kind, sweet, and loving. She is a great addition to the ER. I got no special treatment. Jasmine treats everyone the same – patients, fellow staff, strangers, and old patients of 66 years old.

Her sense of humor is  #1! She eases your mind by explaining everything she does in deep detail. Doctor Wells is also a great doctor.

Jasmine called my friends to pick me up. She went out of her way to get me a dinner tray of food, also. She could not have been any kinder or sweeter to me during my entire stay, about five hours in total.

She makes you feel that you are the most important human being on earth when you are in her care. You should be lucky to have 100 just like her on your staff. You do have many just like her in the ER.

God bless your ER nurses!
