1st Nomination
I would like to thank you, Janpen Chimwai, but I prefer to call you Khun Ning. Whenever I need help, you are always there for me. Today, I came to see the doctor because I had severe back pain. The doctor gave me a pain relief injection, but one thing I’m always afraid of is getting injections—I get so anxious that I cry every time.
While I was waiting, I asked for Khun Ning. She is a nurse at the Heart Center, and whenever I need help, she never refuses and always assists me right away. When I found out that Khun Ning would be the one giving me the injection, I felt much less anxious. I’m truly grateful for the care you’ve always given me.

2nd Nomination
Yesterday, I visited the Spine Clinic due to severe lower back and right leg pain. The doctor initially recommended a localized injection; however, the inflammation was not specific enough to target the injection site. Therefore, it was decided that I should receive intravenous medication instead.
The issue is that I have a phobia of needles, especially when it involves inserting an IV. My veins are quite small, and I often panic during such procedures. Fortunately, a nurse at the Spine Clinic recognized this issue and kindly called for assistance from a nurse at the Health Centre named Khun Ning. I was relieved to learn that she was on duty and came down to assist.
She inserted the IV with great gentleness and care and gave me the required medication. Her gentleness, calmness, and empathy truly make her a very special nurse. She has also assisted me on previous occasions in other departments whenever needed. I sincerely appreciate that the hospital allows her to assist patients outside her assigned department when necessary. T
his level of compassion and flexibility is what makes Bangkok Hospital International Phuket a hospital that truly prioritizes patient care, and one that I will continue to return to and wholeheartedly recommend.
