I am honored to nominate Janet for the DAISY Award in recognition of the outstanding care, compassion, and dedication she provides to patients in the Podiatry office. Janet went above and beyond to ensure I felt comfortable, heard, and valued. One example of her exceptional care occurred when I arrived feeling anxious about a complex foot procedure. Janet took the time to explain each step of the process in a calm and reassuring manner, easing my fears. She also continued to check in throughout the visit, demonstrating true empathy and professionalism.

Janet also provided great care for me when I expressed that I was feeling nauseated during the procedure and helped to ease me into a supine position, provided me with a cool washcloth for my forehead, and helped me drink some apple juice. Her commitment to my safety prior to me leaving my appointment was beyond any treatment I have received, and I really appreciate the care and compassion she demonstrated.

Beyond patient care, Janet is a pillar of the support team. Her willingness to assist colleagues, maintain efficiency in the office, and contribute to a positive work environment makes a significant impact. Whether ensuring proper wound care education, assisting in procedures, or simply offering a kind word, her dedication to excellence shines through in all she does.
