Janet was standing at the bus stop in the employee parking lot when an elderly patient driving around stopped and asked how to get to Heart and Vascular. She tried to explain where he needed to go, but she could tell he was very confused and anxious. Janet then got in the elderly man's vehicle and showed him exactly where to park and where he needed to be. She then proceeded to help him get into the building. She could tell he was still confused and wasn't completely sure he was in the right place, so she had him sit in the waiting room while she went to the desk to get him help from the employees in Heart and Vascular. Once she knew that they were going to help with the check-in process, she found security so they could sit with him until his appointment, which was actually hours later. Janet was still concerned, so she called Heart and Vascular a little while later to make sure he was ok and that they were going to help him get home to Graceville. 

Janet is a wonderful and caring person who deserves recognition for going above and beyond. This patient was extremely anxious and confused, and she recognized that. I hope that if my family member is ever in that patient's position, they find someone as caring as Janet to help them.
