I was admitted to the ED with an advanced case of double Pneumonia and RSV. Due to coughing spasms, I had not slept for 11 days. I was at my wits' end. Having worked in the ED, I knew that I was receiving amazing help and excellent care. But, having never been this sick, I was confused and worried. Jan came to the ED and spent all the time necessary to learn about my condition. She then very patiently and compassionately explained all the options and helped me make a plan—her skills, knowledge, and ability to meet me where I was far exceeded outstanding. I will be forever grateful for her amazing help. A true Lifesaver!
