I want to nominate Nurse Jamie because she was so nice and caring when my grandma was in the hospital on a breathing tube. I could tell she really cared about her. She combed my grandma's hair so it wouldn't get tangled and always made sure she was comfortable. When my grandma asked for tomato soup after they took out her breathing tube, Jamie got her soup and a cookie from Panera. That was very nice of her. When my grandma died, we were on a different floor, but Jamie still came to see us. I was so sad and scared to cry, but when she came in, I hugged her and started crying so hard I could barely stand. She just held me and told me she knew how I felt because she lost her grandma too when she was young, like me. She said it was okay to be sad and mad and that my grandma would always be with me. She said Grandma would send me a sign. Even though my grandma died and I am so sad, Jamie did her best to make her comfortable and cared for. She also cared for me. She gave me a picture of my grandma's heartbeat, and that meant so much to me. I will keep it forever. I am only 13, but I know I want to be a nurse like Jamie one day.
