As a patient in the wound clinic, Jamie was the only one moving around and keeping themselves busy, grabbing patients right after check-in. I happened to be one of those patients. 3 times I was there, she was my nurse and always had a smile on her face. Never judgmental about my situation. Jamie was a wound nurse, but at times felt like my therapist; she listened to my rants, gave feedback, and made me laugh while I felt down. She is a down-to-earth person. I'm glad she was my nurse in the wound clinic. Very communicative, was giving others compliments about how great a job they were doing. She has become wound certified, which shows how dedicated and willing she is to learn more for the department. Jamie always seemed to be concerned about patients' well-being and how their day was going. If someone were feeling down, she'd try her best to make them feel better. Back to the wound certification, which took a lot of time to study and test. It shows how much they were willing to better themselves for their team and patients. Knowing patients deserve the best.
