I came to the ER because I was short of breath and having small episodes of chest pain. Jamie immediately noticed that there was something wrong with me and got me back to my room faster than I could understand what was happening. The room flooded with people but Jamie made sure to be the calm during my storm. She explained everything that was happening step by step. I was overwhelmed by everything happening so fast, but she even held my hand while a tech placed an IV in each of my arms. Jamie was incredibly caring, passionate, knowledgeable, and understanding. I have had a few different experiences in a hospital, however I have never experienced the type of personnable care that I expereinced with Jamie.

When my blood work came back, and the doctor came in to explain my results, Jamie was right there next to me. Once the doctor stepped out, she answered all of my questions and explained the next steps in my treatment so that I could understand and be a part of my plan for care. She explained to me the reason I was being admitted to the hospital. I have always been someone who appreciated what hospital staff does, but I have never been a fan of being in a hospital myself. Jamie made me feel not like a patient but like a person in need. Like I was one of her family members, she was taking care of.

This is truly the best experience I have ever had or could have asked for in a hospital, and I owe all of my thanks to Jamie Fisher! I pray that anyone who is in need and ends up in an ER can be cared for like the angel god sent me through Jamie.
