James is kind, compassionate, and well-loved by his peers. James serves as an advocate supporting patients and their families, offering strength and hope to distressed family members. James ' psychiatric nursing instructor has noted that James has always demonstrated excellent patient care.
James presented an excellent poster presentation on skin-to-skin in the operating room based off of where he saw a need. The poster remains at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center to help with their move to accomplish S2S care in the O.R and baby-friendly hospital designation.
James ' preceptor for his senior practicum described him as professional with patients and staff, and was able to independently manage the care for 2-3 complex patients by the end of his practicum experience. Faculty, who have had James all recognize him as an excellent student who will become an exceptional nurse.
