James "Cody" administers shots to me every month to help me keep my cancer at bay. 

Twenty-five years ago, I had breast cancer. Now, after all that time, the cancer has returned in the form of bone lesions. 

Each month, Cody will greet me with a big smile, ask me how I am feeling, and what changes I might be going through with my medication. 

Cody is, by far, the most gifted RN I have encountered in my 75 years. 

Every person who walks into the chemotherapy area is treated like family. And if you're on this cancer journey, a smile can make your entire day.
