Jay is a phenomenal nurse and human being. He truly cares about both staff and patients. He asks every nurse, each time he is assigned to work a charge, if he can pass one of their patients' medications to them during med pass.

He jumps in and helps if it looks like someone is drowning. He never complains about helping nursing staff and genuinely means it when he asks if there is any way that he can help. And he doesn't make you feel like a burden for asking. He runs to every single fall alarm that goes off, regardless of whether it is his patient or not, or whether anyone else thinks it's serious. He takes them seriously every single time without fail.
