As a nurse myself, I never imagined I would be on the other side as a patient. When the time came, I was terrified. One would think being in the healthcare profession for almost 10 years would provide some comfort but that was not the case for me.

After my procedure, I felt awful and was not looking forward to spending the night in the hospital. As I’m sure many can agree there is no place like home – especially when feeling ill. The staff of 9 Stone, specifically my nurses Diana and Jackie, went above and beyond to make my admission comfortable and as close to feeling like home as possible.

Both Diana and Jackie had an amazingly calming presence. They made me feel safe and well cared for throughout my entire stay. Their knowledge and skills were spectacular as they continuously guided me and my family through my recovery. They also were excellent patient advocates and communicated thoroughly with the doctors to ensure an effective plan of care. Their dedication to excellent and compassionate patient care was more than evident throughout my stay. They made an impression on me and my mother that we will never forget, truly making this a positive experience for me. I am grateful and inspired to have had such skilled and devoted nurses – Diana and Jackie’s exemplary care will be something I strive to emulate in my nursing practice every day.
