I would like to recognize Jacqueline Batres of Davenport 8 for her extraordinary care, compassion, kindness, and dedication. 

As a nurse, Jacque is truly the sweetest person I have ever met. She always takes the time to talk with me and explains my medications -- never making me feel rushed, even when I may take up more of her time. Her constant smile and warm demeanor have a way of brightening my day and comforting my heart. 

During a particularly difficult time, when I was grieving the loss of my husband and struggling with anxiety, Jacque showed remarkable empathy and care. Even though she did not know what I was going through, she noticed my distress and simply sat with me, talking and offering comfort. That small act of kindness prevented me from sinking into darker thoughts and reminded me of the power of genuine human connection. 

Jacque's compassion, patience, and presence exemplify what true nursing is all about. She goes above and beyond to care for her patients, not just medically but emotionally.  She truly deserves thisr e for the meaningful difference she makes in the lives of her patients.
