Trabajo con Itzíar desde hace varios años. La delicadeza, cariño e interés que muestra en el cuidado a los pacientes es digno de reconocimiento, en mi opinión.

A pesar de que muchos no oyen bien, ella jamás grita, se acerca y les habla al oído, y le entienden. Siempre va corriendo porque quiere hacer mucho más de lo que "debe".

Como compañera, es excepcional, limpia las mesas del comedor si las ve sucias, baja a la farmacia, ayuda a darles de comer. Siempre con su talante alegre y discreto. En el cuidado de los pacientes terminales es exquisito, no pierde detalle para que estén confortables y con buena presencia.

Itzíar no necesita reconocimiento para hacer su trabajo. Pero yo se lo quiero dar, porque dignifica a los pacientes hasta sus últimos momentos.

English Translation:

I have been working with Itzíar for several years. The sensitivity, warmth, and genuine interest she demonstrates in caring for patients are, in my opinion, truly worthy of recognition.

Even though many of the patients have difficulty hearing, she never shouts; instead, she leans in close and speaks directly into their ears—and they understand her. She is always rushing about because she strives to do far more than what is strictly "required" of her.

As a colleague, she is exceptional: she wipes down the dining tables if she sees they are dirty, runs errands down to the pharmacy, and helps feed the patients. She is always maintaining her cheerful and unassuming demeanor. When caring for terminally ill patients, she is truly exquisite in her attention; she overlooks no detail to ensure they remain comfortable and maintain a dignified appearance.

Itzíar does not seek recognition to do her job. Yet I wish to give it to her, for she upholds the dignity of her patients right up to their very last moments.
