HN Martinez consistently comes to work with a positive attitude and determination to provide only the best care possible to all patients coming into the Emergency Department. Every detail matters to her. Whether it is a small child or an adult, she finds a way to try and make all people feel as comfortable as possible during a time when they may be feeling anxious about their current condition. She may tell a joke or lighten the mood through casual conversation and can always put a smile on their face. She has an unmatched curiosity and eagerness to learn as much as she possibly can and understand the conditions for which people may be coming in, so she can respond and provide the best care possible. She anticipates patients' needs before being asked, and many times before they even realize they need anything. As a nurse who works directly with her, I can always rely on her. She will always speak up when she is concerned that an individual may be declining and consistently advocates for her patients. Thank you for always working hard, having a smile on your face, and remaining positive despite often working in a stressful environment. I have no doubt that as you continue to grow, you will go on to do great things!

Isabella made being in the ER a bit more relaxing with her positive and happy attitude. More people like her in general would definitely make life better. She was kind and respectful while also managing to put me at ease and bring a smile to my face. It was a breath of fresh air to be in a painful situation but have someone like her attend to me.
