I was in my recovery room after my procedure and was very sick. Isabella made sure not to leave my side and got me the help I needed to get me well. I found out after a little while that my doctor was considering keeping me overnight due to my condition, and I did not want to stay. She did everything she could to help me get well enough to go home to my babies that night. I was on the phone with a friend of mine after quite literally all the sudden feeling much better and was telling her how prayers moved mountains for me. She was prepping to discharge me and overheard that conversation. She looked at me with a smile and said, "It's so crazy you said that, because I took some time to say a prayer for you and your recovery." She was so proud to see me up and moving, and just kept repeating how happy she was for me that I was feeling better. She also took the time on Tuesday to call me and ask me how I was doing after my procedure and made sure I did not have anymore complications. It meant the world to me to know I had a nurse praying for me in my time of need. Nursing takes a heart like no other, and I truly believe she is a wonderful example of a Baptist and the threefold ministry.
