Bella was efficient and confident in her work, taking care of my mother. That gave us a feeling of peace that she was getting the best attention and expertise possible. But more than that, Bella was very perceptive of our family’s needs. While she was respectful of physicians/providers, as soon as they left after meeting with us, Bella would follow up to make sure we understood all that was happening. She got answers to any questions we still had. Bella was simultaneously sweet and compassionate, yet knowledgeable and supportive as we considered DNR/living will issues and decisions. She eased our hearts as we heard and accepted signs of my mom’s decline, beginning the end-of-life process. Bella made a very sad time easier as she seemed like a caring partner for us in those last days.
