Isaac is the definition of a selfless caregiver.
We would like to nominate Isaac for his incredible compassion, professionalism, and unwavering dedication during one of the most critical times in our family's life. After our daughter underwent life-saving brain surgery following a traumatic car accident, Isaac was one of the first nurses to care for her in the ICU — and from the very beginning, he went above and beyond for not just her, but for our entire family.

Those first few days were filled with fear, uncertainty, and overwhelming emotion. Isaac didn't just provide exceptional clinical care to her— he was also a steady, reassuring presence for all of us. He patiently explained what was happening, what to expect, and always made time to answer our questions, no matter how many we had or how emotional we were. He treated us like family, not just visitors at a bedside.

He even went out of his way to engage with our younger daughter, who has an interest in pursuing a career in the medical field. He took the time to answer her questions with genuine thoughtfulness, encouraging her curiosity and offering her a glimpse into what compassionate healthcare truly looks like.

One moment that especially stands out: when she became more alert and expressed how much she missed Diet Coke, Isaac made a sweet and symbolic promise — that he wouldn’t drink a Diet Coke until she could have one, and that they’d share one together. He’s kept that promise, and though he’s no longer assigned as her nurse, he continues to stop in, check on her progress, and chat with her like a true friend and supporter. That simple act of kindness reflects just how deeply he cares.

Isaac is the definition of a selfless caregiver. He is not only an incredible nurse but a remarkable human being who made a lasting impact on our entire family. We are endlessly grateful for the role he played in her recovery and the compassion he continues to show us.

Thank you, Isaac, for everything.
