I have worked with Issac multiple times, and every time I work with him, he goes above and beyond to provide compassionate care for his patients. He cares about each and every patient, and it shows. As a coworker, he is always quick to jump in and help, and is a great person to be around. There's one particular instance that I wanted to highlight that really showed how Issac's care made a meaningful impact on one of his patients.

In this instance, a patient's emotions had escalated beyond what the patient could control, including violence against staff. Issac acted quickly to mitigate harm for the patient and for staff. After ensuring the patient was safe and allowing the patient to calm down to a level the patient could regulate, Issac went in and talked to him. Issac talked to the patient at his level, considering he was a young child, and talked to him for at least 30 minutes, and helped the patient become calmer and regulated.

He showed patience, compassion, and understanding, and you could see that the patient felt heard by Issac. I have seen so many of these instances where Issac goes above and beyond to make sure his patients feel heard and cared for, and I wanted him to see that his care and actions as a Nurse and coworker do not go unnoticed.
