My grandpa was admitted for RSV/Pneumonia and passed away. All of the nurses listed were incredibly kind and understanding toward our family. We have a very big family, some flew in from out of state, and one from out of the country, Vietnam. These nurses took such good care of my grandpa while he was there and made sure he was comfortable for the remainder of his days.
The nurses were so accommodating to my large family and our customs and cultures. We are Buddhists, and they were so kind and did not judge when we would have prayers and other traditions during this time. Lindsey helped us understand the process and options of hospice, and whether going home was an option. She was very thoughtful and understanding. Luke was very kind during the night shift and let us come visit after visiting hours. Bethany was very attentive during his last moments and would check in on my grandpa and on us. Sarah was incredibly accommodating with our needs, requests, and gave us time to grieve and be with our grandpa after his passing.
I was not present when Jess was taking care of my grandpa, but my aunts spoke highly of her and how kind and attentive she was toward him. We are all so truly thankful for the care that he received here. While his wish was to pass away at home, I am glad he was here with these amazing nurses, as he received such compassionate care.
Thank you so much to all of these nurses for making such a sudden and difficult situation as easy as possible for him and for my family. I cannot thank you all enough for what you do.
