I was recently admitted to the ICU after experiencing a myocardial infarction while out on a run. It was one of the most unexpected and frightening experiences of my life. I ended up needing a stent placed, and everything happened very quickly. Being in that situation, not knowing what was coming next, was overwhelming. From the moment Hope came on shift, she made a huge difference in my experience. She took excellent care of me, but what really stood out was how she treated me as a person, not just a patient. Hope walked me through everything that was happening, step by step. She explained things in a way that made sense and helped take away a lot of the fear and uncertainty I was feeling. She never made me feel rushed or like I was just another room to get through. Instead, she was present, patient, and genuinely caring.

What meant the most to me was her bedside manner. In a moment where I felt vulnerable and unsure, she brought a sense of calm and reassurance. She made a scary situation feel manageable. That kind of care goes beyond just doing the job. It shows real compassion and dedication. I can honestly say that having Hope as my nurse made a difficult experience much easier to get through. She represents everything you would want in a nurse, and I would recommend her to anyone without hesitation. I am truly grateful for the care she gave me and the support she provided during such a critical time in my life.
