Holly is the type of nurse who should be exemplified in a case study for empathetic care regarding patients and family involvement. He demonstrated advanced medical knowledge, attention to detail and most importantly, sincere compassion with a dedication to his craft that even Florence Nightingale herself would commend. He made my son feel safe and strong even while his body was betraying him. His confidence in my son’s ability to fight against the septic infection helped my son find the inner strength to claw his way back to health. He was the type of quick witted, sarcastic, comforting velvet hammer that a teenage boy needs.
