Holly's creativity, relentless energy, and unique experiences as both a former student and seasoned clinician were invaluable in creating a fresh vision for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) curriculum.
MAJ Archer was a member of the Graduate School of Nursing's (GSN) inaugural Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) class, graduating in 2015 with a 4.0 GPA and the Board of Regents Award, the highest award the University can bestow on a student. Three years later she returned as a faculty member, bringing her clinical acumen, professionalism, military bearing, work ethic, and deep, personal appreciation of what it is like to be a DNP student. These attributes have made her highly regarded by everyone in the GSN; faculty, staff, and most especially the students.

Since her arrival, Dr. Archer has provided exceptional leadership within the GSN. Within months of her arrival, the Family & Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (FNP) faculty conducted the first major curriculum revision since the creation of the DNP curriculum in 2012. MAJ Archer was coming directly from the clinical setting, and her recent, relevant primary care experiences were tremendously valuable as the faculty re-imagined ways to deliver critical content. Holly's creativity, relentless energy, and unique experiences as both a former student and seasoned clinician were invaluable in creating a fresh vision for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) / Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) curriculum. Dr. Archer demonstrates awareness of conducting and disseminating her work at the national and international levels. She has natural leadership abilities that will serve her in good stead as both a mentor and global leader in nursing. She is a remarkably talented, and productive scholarly nurse clinician faculty.
