My son broke his arm. Holden was so very nice to him, encouraged him throughout every process, took the time to not only educate and explain everything to the student nurses, but took the time to educate my son. He was fast and proficient, but he also had an excellent bedside manner. It is rare to see that in an ER nurse. He was patient and kind with my son’s 100 questions. Throughout the reduction he was ready, monitored efficiently, and explained in depth what he was watching for with students. He definitely set the bar for them. He has an amazing heart and connects very well with patients. I am an experienced RN who doesn’t give up control well. He made me feel safe and confident that my son was in good hands without ever saying it. My overall experience in the ER was what I consider 5 star. The whole team from start to finish was impressive. It is obvious that Holden cares deeply about his patients, his coworkers, and his students.
