I am most especially indebted to her because she encouraged me and motivated me.
Dearest Nurse Hilda,

Thank you for your patience, hard work, and love for your profession. Thank you for taking good care of our father. We are blessed to have a good and kind nurse like you.

***

For almost ten (10) years I’m at the NICU, I unexpectedly got transferred to the Medical Ward (as Head Nurse), I felt a sudden shock. Everything was new, and I felt quite frightened. During my first month, I experienced rejection from the staff, always being compared to the past head nurse. I’m so pressured, it seems they question my ability. I faced/encountered a lot of ward problems and issues. Although deep inside, I wanted to give up, I remained calm and strong. I wanted to file a sabbatical leave, but I’m so grateful because this nurse assisted me to overcome my challenges. She helped me carry out physician’s orders when she noticed I had the bulk of orders. She patiently taught me to run medical equipment I’m not familiar with. I am most especially indebted to her because she encouraged me and motivated me. She told me not to give up on them, to have more patience, and to support me in implementing the changes to improve our (Medical) unit. She always compliments me when I’m so down.

Also, she has always been praised by our patients because of her skills and dedication to her work. Truly, I’m so thankful, Nurse Hilda, you’re such a good nurse.
