Since taking the Ambulatory Supervisor RN role, Hilary has greatly supported the team. She hit the ground running to advocate for gaps identified in knowledge impacting patient care. She reached out to NPD to obtain support and discuss knowledge gaps, which included ordering labs, collecting specimens, and using assistive devices for safe patient mobility.

She collaborated with NPD to develop training for clinical teams. She helped create a visual aid for team members to promote improved lab practices. She has been crucial in supporting the placement of nursing students. She helped to develop a guide for preceptors to utilize when hosting nursing students to promote more engaging experiences. Hilary saw a need for NST education for her nurses and advocated for her team members to attend training and attend the training herself to be an in-office resource for her team. Her newest contribution is joining the SCR Ambulatory Professional Governance Council, where she can continue to elevate ambulatory nursing practice.
