Heidi was my father’s nurse. She was beyond attentive and caring. She would always make sure he was well cared for and check in on how we were doing. Due to a stroke, my father was unable to speak, but Heidi would work with my father to get the slightest of responses.

She kept his spirit uplifted. As we walked into the room, she had him sitting up in the chair with a smile on his face and let out a chuckle. She knew his limitations and would push him in ways he succeeded. She would joke and bring joy in this hard time.
