Every patient she has ever had, she makes them feel like they are family. Every patient has always told me, "I really love that Heather on day shift." Heather always goes above and beyond. She always teaches me new things and shows me how coworkers can become family.
I hope I am half the nurse she is. I have seen her make an unhappy patient become pleased and not want to leave the hospital because of her fabulous care. She is an exceptional, inspiring, and loving nurse. She is such a blessing to our unit, our hospital, and especially to our patients!

Absolutely wonderful and encouraging nurse in every way. I would not have been nearly as motivated to get up and do my post-surgery activities without her bedside manner and sense of humor. Heather is another amazing nurse we were privileged to have caring for our mom. When mom was anxious and ready to walk out, she took the time to come in and talk with Mom and listen to why she was scared. She explained about hospice to her and how they could help her. She explained how her mom was in hospice now and how they have helped her. Shetook the time out of her busy day to reassure and calm our mom's fears. All I can say is your hospital has the most caring and compassionate nurses! Thank you!

My dad was admitted several times in the past few years. Heather has been wonderful. His visit this past March he needed a portable toilet for home. Heather ordered it for us on the internet and had it delivered to my father's house.
She's friendly, very informative and explains meds, what to expect and how to care for my dad. She goes above and beyondof what is expected of a nurse. As a patient, my dad is very happy (as happy as you can be in the hospital) to see Heather as his nurse because he knows her care and concern for his well-being. GREAT JOB!

Heather is extraordinary in the care she provides not only for her patient but also for their family. She makes sure that everyone has whatever they might need and takes an interest in everyone's comfort. She made sure my husband was comfortable by providing ice water to him before he even arrived.

Heather lights up the room just walking in. She's so kind, always smiling, helping, just so friendly. Even offered to go to the store for a fruit tray. I'm very comfortable around Heather. Actually, all the girls are great. Heather is just better. Her smile is a healing quality. She just is so personable, friendly, kind, warm-hearted. Should be teaching everyone how to nurse.
