Heather was the nurse who took care of my great-grandpa. He had made the decision to go to hospice, which was hard on my family and me. Heather took the time to explain the process of dying and what we could look for as normal signs. Heather also explained to us what to look for when talking to him, such as little eyebrow raises or wiggling of toes. She helped to ease the pain of losing a loved one. She made sure we were all taken care of and that my grandpa was comfortable. Without her, our stay at the hospital would not have been what it was. I am so thankful she was our nurse. She made an impact on my family and me.
