Heather Balde, BSN
A coworker shared that Heather is one of the hardest-working people in Mother/Baby. She's an amazing example of how a nurse should be - very thoughtful, compassionate, down-to-earth, and you know that she really loves what she does. She's always there to help everyone, even though she's busy; you don't see her complain and never hear her say negative things about other people.
A second coworker stated Heather is "so compassionate about her work, always helping others and especially me every time I get so many discharges; she always strips the bed. Being a housekeeper in this unit, She's my favorite person ever.”
A third co-worker said she was honored to nominate Heather for a DAISY Award. She demonstrates compassion and excellence through her clinical expertise and goes above and beyond for her patients and fellow coworkers. You can count on her at any time to jump in when there is a crisis or if an extra pair of hands is needed.
Heather deserves a DAISY award as she is an outstanding role model. She is currently a preceptor to all our new hires and is a great resource for our students.
