Thankfully, Hayley was working triage this Sunday, and I heard her yell for respiratory in the pharmacy to the triage room! Upon entering the trauma room, I found Haley performing CPR on a three-month-old baby. Haley not only acted fast with her initial assessment in triage and starting CPR without a passing second, but then continued to stay in the trauma room and support our staff with her excellent Peds skills. She placed a line on a difficult patient and controlled the room with comfort and guidance that helped save this baby's life with the utmost compassion and care. Haley deserves to be recognized in this moment for being an incredible ER nurse who goes above and beyond every day without recognition!
