X was on 3A for a little more than a week before being moved to the ICU. Harmoni was his nurse most of the days he was on 3A. She was attentive and thorough in her work, explaining what she was doing at each step of the way. Her sense of humor helped both X and me stay calm in difficult times. She developed a rapport with us that made us look forward to her coming on duty each day. To cap off the extraordinary care, she actually used her break time a few days after he had to move to the ICU to come and visit him. Her smile made his day! She is deserving of special recognition.
