She was so very compassionate and did her best to keep my mom comfortable during this difficult time.
My sister and I are helping our mom while she is admitted at Tacoma General, and we are emotionally drained while my mom is declining in her end stages of COPD. This is the worst thing my sister and I have ever experienced, and nothing makes it easy to know you’re losing your mom at any time. The only thing that softens this blow for us is your staff's bedside manner and intuitive care. Hannah was top tier in all aspects of her job duties and was always there with the things that we needed. She was personable and empathetic. She was kind and very informative when we had questions (and we had a lot). She didn’t treat us like we were a chore but as if we were real human beings, and we couldn’t be more grateful. She was so very compassionate and did her best to keep my mom comfortable during this difficult time. Hospitals can be a crappy place to be, mentally and physically, for anyone, and I just want to express my gratitude to Nurse Hannah and the Tacoma general staff for doing their best to keep our spirits high when it was so hard for us.
