Hannah made our stay brighter. She was one of the greatest nurses to exemplify a heartfelt connection and was a true advocate for our daughter. We had concerns about our daughter's care and how often a certain task was being done. Many nurses would listen to us, but Hannah helped us to feel heard loud and clear. She always listened to us and helped problem solve. We felt like she knew our daughter best - what she needed and when. She listened to the frustrations I had and took action.
Hannah made a sign to help other nurses stay consistent in the care that my daughter received. It really changed the way this task was completed moving forward, and I will forever applaud her for going above and beyond. One of the hardest things about a hospital stay is speaking up when you don't feel comfortable, and sometimes, it feels difficult to be heard. Hannah felt like a friend to us- so kind, caring, compassionate, and a ray of sunshine. Her positive attitude radiated and she is clearly a role model to other nurses on the floor.
