Hannah is observant, and her initiative turned a life-threatening situation into a life-saving one.
- Hannah was so caring and responsive. She was always ready and willing to help me, even for something silly like a small headache. But most importantly, Hannah was always cheering my successes, large or small. I cannot stress enough what that did for my mental well-being. Hannah has an uncanny and very appreciative way of taking care of the whole patient. Her efforts were exemplary, and I would be remiss if I didn’t make it known how important she was to my recovery.

She was with me after a very scary bowel resection surgery. Hannah checked in on me frequently, used care when explaining what she was doing, and was a good listener. I will recommend Jefferson to as many people as possible due to the great care I received.

I am writing to offer a compliment and the highest praise for Hannah Marsh, RN, from the 5th floor. Hannah was my life-saving angel. I was admitted on a Tuesday as a patient with double pneumonia and extreme difficulty in breathing. The following Sunday, I was given a walking breathing test, prepping to be discharged, which I failed miserably, such that I required assistance to return to my bed. The plan at this point is to proceed with the discharge despite my inability to breathe. Hannah stepped into note that further evaluation and treatment were needed, and discharge was inadvisable at her instigation. I was given a chest X-ray, which necessitated a visit from the pulmonary doctor on call. She explained the results of the X-ray that required a more intensive treatment plan, and discharge was out of the question. Hannah is observant, and her initiative turned a life-threatening situation into a life-saving one. Without Hannah, I would have been released with very serious and frightening complications. Again, Hannah was my life-saving angel. If I can provide any additional information on Hannah’s handling of the situation, please do not hesitate to call me.
