Hannah Lilienkamp, BSN, RN

Hannah made one of the biggest moments of our lives even more special. As first-time parents, we were nervous and didn't know what to expect, but from the moment she walked into the room, she put us at ease. Her bubbly personality brought so much joy, yet she was also incredibly gentle, compassionate, and kind. She made every interaction feel personal and genuine. Talking with Hannah felt so natural—as if we had known her for years. She took the time to answer our questions, ease our worries, and make sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Her care went far beyond the medical side of nursing; she made us feel seen, supported, and truly cared for during such an important milestone in our lives. When her shifts ended, we were genuinely sad to see her go.

What meant even more was that she came back multiple times to visit our new family and us just to check in and chat. Those visits weren't part of her job—they reflected the kind of person and nurse she is. We also discovered we shared a special connection through University, which made our conversations even more meaningful. It felt like such a small but memorable reminder that the right people come into your life at the right time. We are incredibly grateful that Hannah was part of our birth experience. She turned what could have been an overwhelming and intimidating experience into one filled with comfort, confidence, and joy. We will always remember the kindness she showed our family and the positive impact she had as we welcomed our first baby into the world.
