Two antibiotics were given to me concurrently in my IV, and a few minutes later, Hannah returned and noticed a rash on my arm. She immediately stopped the antibiotics, then administered Benadryl. The rash disappeared quickly, and then Hannah proceeded to administer only one of the antibiotics.
My white blood cell count was high, and I needed to have the antibiotics. Through this, Hannah was decisive and quickly got the rash down and one antibiotic back in me so I could still get treatment for the infection. She was so professional, willing to listen to my suggestions.
Throughout my stay, she exceeded my and my parents' expectations. Hannah is a great person to care for patients and represent Potomac Valley Hospital. Hannah is a highly skilled and dedicated nurse who consistently demonstrates professionalism and a strong commitment to her role. She actively supports her team, willingly taking on responsibilities with a positive and solutions-focused approach.
She is dependable and flexible, readily assisting in other departments to meet staffing needs and stepping in to work any shift when called upon.
