We unexpectedly lost our son. We received almost 100+ people to say goodbye at his bedside. Hannah, although attached to our son from many hospital visits, remained professional and caring. She gate-kept our room. Responded to any medication request with servitude. She met our needs and helped us take care of ourselves amidst the many people we were receiving and hugging. She diligently asked for further or fewer interventions for the comfort of our son. After all was done and she was off the clock, she came by and loved on our baby one more time. We cried and hugged and cried some more. We are forever grateful for her strength and resilience so we could grieve and didn’t need to be mentally present except for our son.
