Haley had a patient in PACU that was very combative and aggressive. Haley showed how amazing of a nurse she is and stayed calm with the patient. The patient continued to be aggressive, and Haley stayed positive and kept redirecting the patient in a compassionate way. Haley was able to get the patient oriented and back to his normal self. Haley showed such compassion and caring towards a difficult patient. She continued to treat him with respect and dignity throughout the time she was caring for him. She truly showed what it means to be a nurse.
