Nurse Hailley Bertucci made a lasting impression on everyone involved in caring for our 72-year-old father. Dad was a patient for two weeks and was very, very sick. We didn't know what to expect; everything was new and frightening to us as we watched him struggle and ultimately lose almost 50 pounds. Through it all, Hailley was there, working tirelessly, and often helping us understand the issues and challenges ahead. She patiently explained things to us, sometimes more than once, until we got it. She showed us daily that Dad's comfort was a main priority. Hailley showed patience and repeatedly expressed concern, checking on Dad and often, without hesitation, having to visit Dad's hospital room to respond to Dad's medical needs.

During this difficult time, Hailley was a blessing. We all felt a sense of relief; we felt fortunate and blessed to have Hailley as Dad's Nurse. During Dad's hospital stay, Hailley worked tirelessly and illustrated a devotion and a skilled passion for our Dad's well-being, which made a huge impression on us. Hailley stood out as a nurse and truly epitomizes the statement "willing and able to go beyond the normal call of duty." During a time when we didn't know what to expect and Dad's future seemed bleak, Hailley expressed confidence that Dad would recover. With Hailley's care, Dad has made a full recovery. It's not often you get to witness someone like Hailley, who shows such a selfless attitude. Hailley has definitely made a lasting impression on all who were involved during Dad's hospital stay, and she will always be our “Nurse Angel."

Thank you, Hailley, for your exceptional compassion, advocacy, and dedication to your patients. You truly make a difference.
