he was the most amazing advocate for mom, as well as the most compassionate caregiver I've ever had the pleasure of knowing.
We had to make the decision to put my mom in a long-term care facility because of her Alzheimer's. This was an excruciatingly hard decision for my dad and me.
She was placed in Adara in Broomfield. We were assigned Tru Community Hospice as she was considered end-stage at that time by her doctor. Enter Hailey and her beautiful team of caregivers!
Hailey is someone I believe to be one of God's angels on earth. She was the most amazing advocate for mom, as well as the most compassionate caregiver I've ever had the pleasure of knowing. She is gifted for this kind of soul-crushing work. She always made mom smile and feel at ease.
I observed her many times and never had a concern with the way she took care of Mom. I had several concerns with Adara that she always addressed right away and thoroughly. Hailey made the difference in the care mom received tenfold!
She always called me, or if I was there, she explained everything in detail with patience and love for her patient. She always explained to Mom what she was doing gently and lovingly. When the time came that mom was actively passing, Hailey cried with me. It's obvious that she has a gift for this work, and I'm not sure how we would have made it through this time without her.
I cannot say enough about the beautiful soul that she is. We will never forget Hailey; she's in our hearts forever. I can only pray that each of us has a hospice nurse like Hailey should we ever need one.
God bless her. And thank you, Hailey, for loving Mom and us to the end.
