With the help of resources Gregg set him up with and lending him his personal charger, our patient was able to get care and support to keep him stable.
Gregg went above and beyond for our patient. When he arrived, he was scared, noncompliant, and flat. Gregg showed steady support, a listening ear, and established a great rapport. He regained trust in healthcare. Gregg got this patient set up with a social worker, chaplain, and pet therapy. The patient was a young man trying his best to manage his Diabetes, while recently becoming homeless, and had been scared to get help. With the help of resources Gregg set him up with and lending him his personal charger, our patient was able to get care and support to keep him stable. It changed his whole demeanor and experience. Others had brushed him off and made him feel like he had neglected himself on purpose – Gregg gave him security to feel believed and safe.

Way to go, Gregg!

Gregg is an absolutely excellent nurse. His patients will request him to do lab drawings and IV insertions. He is the vein whisperer, and if he can’t see it, he will get the ultrasound machine. He is also always willing to help his PCAs turn or change his patients as well. He goes above and beyond for his patients and the patients of other nurses by helping get IVs, labs, snacks, recliners for family members, or a bed changed. He is a compassionate person and gives the absolute best care to his patients every day. I am glad to have the opportunity to work on TCU with Gregg.
